Albany which had a bigger econ department. One or two did and I think it was worthwhile for them. One has a good job here in Australia now (he's Chinese).David Sternhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16744705511660270649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7641626425728151830.post-33385231442797586452009-10-21T03:40:15.585+11:002009-10-21T03:40:15.585+11:00IIRC Daly is in the policy school, and Cropper, fo...IIRC Daly is in the policy school, and Cropper, for example, is in economics, and Alberini is in ag-econ... even where faculty cross those lines pretty regularly I get the impression students don't much. At Hopkins most of the folks who use the kind of methods that are most interesting to me are over across town in the school of public health, and getting students to take the bus is like pulling teeth. Oh, interdisciplinarity, you seemed like such a good idea at the time!CS Normanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04659542745409584394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7641626425728151830.post-78635435505287001862009-10-20T18:08:57.317+11:002009-10-20T18:08:57.317+11:00My wife went to Maryland in order to do a PhD with...My wife went to Maryland in order to do a PhD with Costanza.
